A Little Trip.

I went on a lovely little trip to the coast recently and had so much fun! I stayed the night with the lovely photographer and friend Haley Graham! We woke up bright and early and went to pick up a fellow model Megan Markus! Us girlies traveled to the Cannon Beach area and it was such a fun trip talking about modeling, photography, life, and current events. :) I can't wait to be in Portland soon so I can meet up with either of them from time to time! Soon soon soon I shall embark on a new adventure. And I just can't wait.

Snow.

I always loved going to the snow when I was younger. And of course I still do. It's beautiful driving up and down and watching how the scenery changes as you get into central oregon.

My family and I would take weekend trips to bend all the time when I was younger. I miss it so much. And I came to realize driving up and back with friends was of course different and the drive itself was a long one. To this day I still can't understand how in the world my dad would get off work after a long day of driving (he use to delivered freight) and then drive us all up to bend in the crazy snowy weather. He's such an amazing man. I love him so much and am so greatful for all he has done for me and my mom too. The amount of things he's accomplished back then and now too considering the state he's in.

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time. But then I realize everything happens for a reason, and the paths we journey on have some sort of adventure, and some sort of way of working out for the best and never for the worst.

California!

Well I must say that California was a success, I had so much fun with Tess. I love her to death, she is definitely one of the best friends I've ever had. Her family was so nice, and I was also so happy to see my friend Oktober another model that recently moved from Eug to Cali. We hungout and shot with some awesome photographers down there. That's the one thing I wish Oregon was like, I wish networking was better, and people would hire models under 5'8"... but don't get me started. haha. :)

California Dreaming?

Lately I have been, it seems a lot of people have been venturing to California. A close friend of mine left a couple days ago. Which made me think of how bad I've been wanting to get out of Eugene and start traveling around and adventuring. Its unfortunate when you have factors holding you back, but short trips are always fun.

Next week my friend Tess is taking a short vacation to Cali, I think I may go with her. I really want to go, but I also don't want to miss my dads walk to defeat ALS. Which is super super important to me. So I haven't quite decided yet, plus I need to get the days off.

BUT! it would be so much fun, I haven't been to California in a while. Spend some time at the beach, in the sunshine, shopping, and having fun. Eeek. That'd be lovely. :)

true story.

Which then made me think of all of the people that have been there for me. I appriciate them so much it's unbelieveable. I'm so greatful for all the family and friends I have that have been able to put up with me and support me with all my accomplishments so far in my life. It makes me happy to have family and friends like the ones I have currently in my life.

But to the people who wern't able to stick around, wern't able to accept me for who I am, who took advantage of our friendship for their own advantage, for the fake friends, and the people who doubt me. I'm sorry for your loss. Because I believe I am a beautiful person and a wonderful friend.

Life is to unbelieveably short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of your life.

Move forward. Keep going. Dream. Wish. Believe in yourself.

Because I sure do.

Ok so.

You know what..you can just stop being insecure about yourself and live your life to the fullest. Don't drag the past into the future. The past is the past that's why we call it the past. It's silly to me how some people can go on with their lives being insecure and feeble about themselves. Grow up, be strong, be the person your meant to be. Own the world don't let the world try and own you. You can't go on acting as though past events will somehow ruin your future. If you start a new and just turn that page in your book of life, you'll feel so much better. Like a million dollars pratically. So take a breath, and just do it. It's time to start a new chapter and leave out all the rest.

Yes.

In life you don't always get the people you want.
You get the people you need.
To hurt you, to leave you, to love you,
but most of all...to make you the person
you are meant to be.

Well apart from my last blogpost. I've learned that I really just need to do as I please. Throw my cares to the wind, and just let the wind wisk them away.

Far far away.

Because really, in all reality... life is to short to stress about the people who don't even deserve to be apart of your life.

It's a true statement. Really it is. Think long and hard about the people you invite into your life. Who you choose to be your friends. Be careful now, for your allowing yourself to put trust in those who you call your friends can be costly if their not true friends.

Well..

Yes, yes it is.
Therefore there is no point on dwelling in the past.
Sometimes things happen in life under circumstances where your unsure what they were and why they happened. But you know...you can't go back and change what's happened. Nothing can be undone in life. So you must just move forward, and look past the little things that are upsetting, and look for the things in life that give you a optimistic attitude.

Just get over the things that pull you down.
Just let them go.
Because it's a new day.


& there is no point dwelling on the past.

Coast Trip!

So the other day I ventured to the coast with a friend! Which ended in some good exploring of tide pools, and beachcombing, and picture taking. I took my film camera with me, but occasionally got to use his amazing digital camera. Ugh I want one now so bad. Their seriously awesome. I still like film but digital is much easier.

So here are a few pictures I took, I put my own little editing twist. :)

An awesome adventure!

So not this last weekend, but the weekend before I went to Bend, OR. I actually had plans to go to Portland and then to Seattle for that weekend, but a friend had car troubles and needed to stay a bit more local and save money. So we traveled to Bend stayed with a friend and went on a huge adventure. It was so so so much fun. :)

We ended up hiking near Broken Top in bend and we hiked up pretty far! We crossed the river down lower when it was easier to cross, and oh my gosh the water was so freaking cold! It was crazzzy, and then I found the cutest froggy! hehe. So after we crossed we hiked on an older trail that disappeared at times, but we just followed the river up, and up, annnnnd upppp... haha.






We actually got pretty close to broken top and if we would've brought camping/backpacking gear I totally would've spent the night up there. It was gorgeous. We ran into some guys up there who had these craaazzzy loud, huge dogs. And one of them in particular wanted to eat me for sure. He was so big. He kept barking at us. So scary, then we talked to the guy for a bit and he gave us mosquito repellent and that was quite nice considering we were getting eaten alive! So we finally made our way back down ran into another group, one guy in particular was eyeballing one of my guy friends..haha. so funny. and then we finally crossed back over the river and hiked our way back to the parking lot. :)





Ending with some group picture taking anddd my own little photography stuff. I'll post when I get the CD back! Considering I use a 35mm. :) It's love. Anyways. All and all a pretty awesome trip with friends.

Hmm..

For those of you who don't know I take a snowboarding class every thursday. It's through the college. And it's freaking awesome. I love it. Today was awesome. It was sunny, could've used a little powder. But ahhh I had so much fun. I went through the park on the box, over jumps, through the mini pipe, and carved through the super half pipe. It was so so so much fun. tehe. I hope everyone had a good thursday!

Now were on to friday!

I seriously cannot wait to see what this weekend has in store for me.
It'll most likely be:

-Freaking out that it's friday.
-Working friday..(lame) oh and saturday.
-Having sunday off! Superbowl!
-Hanging with friends!
-A trashy/classy birthday party (yes i will be dressing trashy) FOR ONCE. hah.
-Being happy.
-Oh and smiling a ton too. :)

I love pumkin hunting, te he. Lone Pine is such
an awesome place to get pumkins, but personally

and less crowded.

Girls

I don't think I've ever been more close to girls in my life than this point right now. I mean normally I don't get along with any, except my best friend. But right now it's just freaking awesome. I love our little group it's absolutely fantastic. Along with my other few girlys. :) I just love having girls nights and going out to dinner, and being the center of attention anywhere we go. Because were all absolutley adorable, and beautiful in every single way ever imagined. I love you all ♥ You've just completed me more than ever in a time in my life where it's been a little rough. But it's getting better. I felt my road in life was going down hill really, and then I had the most wonderful people step into my life, and I'm so entirely greatful. So now my little road is flat, and going up steadily. It's not rocky anymore either ;) I think I'll just travel on down it for a while. ♥
