A Little Trip.

I went on a lovely little trip to the coast recently and had so much fun! I stayed the night with the lovely photographer and friend Haley Graham! We woke up bright and early and went to pick up a fellow model Megan Markus! Us girlies traveled to the Cannon Beach area and it was such a fun trip talking about modeling, photography, life, and current events. :) I can't wait to be in Portland soon so I can meet up with either of them from time to time! Soon soon soon I shall embark on a new adventure. And I just can't wait.

California!

Well I must say that California was a success, I had so much fun with Tess. I love her to death, she is definitely one of the best friends I've ever had. Her family was so nice, and I was also so happy to see my friend Oktober another model that recently moved from Eug to Cali. We hungout and shot with some awesome photographers down there. That's the one thing I wish Oregon was like, I wish networking was better, and people would hire models under 5'8"... but don't get me started. haha. :)

Oregon's Perfect Model

I'm in a competition for Oregon's Perfect Model, in a way it's sort of like America's Next Top Model. Every wednesday of this month I've met with everyone involved in the show. All the models have been so sweet, which is something I couldn't believe at all....considering most girls are very heartless. I've even made some friends! I'm so very grateful for this opportunity to shoot with such talented people. Photographers, MUA's, Hairstylists, Clothing Designers, The Crew on set and the other Models! It's been such a fantastic experience. I've made it to the Top 5! Can you believe that! I'm so happy! I really can't believe I've made it this far, but I'm pumped for this wednesday! It's our last shoot and final filming. Hopefully I knock everyone's socks off! Wish me luck! ♥

This last weekend,

wassss a blast, I did a beauty shoot with
Nick Johnson, and my makeup artist was Rheanna Bowman.
We had tooo much fun. I fell in love with having my
makeup done. Having it air brushed on is freaking
amazing, everyone should have that done atleast once
in their lifetime. Anyways, we created fablous work
and here are a few finished products:

Portland ♥

Portland trips are always fun, I like going with my family.
But the main reason we go is mostly for my dad. I wish he would get better.
It's tough knowing his outcome. I love him with all my heart. He is an amazing man and he doesnt deserve what he's going through right now. Not at all. In the back of my mind I hope and wish all the time he'll get better and he'll pull through. I'm happy he's getting away with my mom for a couple weeks. It'll be a good vacation for him. I wish I could have gone too, but hey I'm a workin girl. hehe. I know they'll have a fun time and I'll be with them in spirit. ♥

Photography sesh's with Jeff Shanes are always fun, we always can create some amazing stuff. I'm happy to have gotten a popsicle and ice cream cone out of it. ;) haha. Next time I get a burrito, which is a little better, I'm movin on up. :) Anyways here are my two favorite snapshots of the day:

Oh what a day!

Today was sooo fun, I love shooting. It makes me so happy, getting outside and doing fun things and having pictures taken is always something to put me in a wonderful mood. It makes me smile real big, and I especially love shooting with Mr. Jeff Shanes. He's such an amazing photographer, and I feel like whenever we shoot together we create a masterpiece.
