California!

Well I must say that California was a success, I had so much fun with Tess. I love her to death, she is definitely one of the best friends I've ever had. Her family was so nice, and I was also so happy to see my friend Oktober another model that recently moved from Eug to Cali. We hungout and shot with some awesome photographers down there. That's the one thing I wish Oregon was like, I wish networking was better, and people would hire models under 5'8"... but don't get me started. haha. :)

Some people.

Some people are just so amazing.
There is a certain type of person you don't find anymore. And I promise you with how the way people are today, there are not many of them. The kind of people that compliment you on a job well done and actually take the time to tell someone about it. Yeah.. those people. I feel like the way kids are being raised they have no manners, and in today's world it's hard to find someone that will treat you how you want to be treated. Especially since your working in customer service like I do. I deal with people all day long. And really, there aren't very many that even say thank you. I would say 2 out of every 10 people I help say the words please and thank you.

So the other day I had a customer, she was nice. She told me what she wanted and I tried to accommodate her the best I could for what she was looking for. Considering we don't have any shorter boots left at Macy's I pulled her similar things, and luckily I grabbed her the right pair of shoes. She was ecstatic that I found exactly what she was looking for. She told me not to blush and asked where my manager was and told her how much of an asset I am to the shoe department. I was excited. I've never ever had anyone ever do that. It was nice. People like this just make my day.

And like this lady, I am to the very same. Complimenting someone when they do a job well done, and treating people how they should be treated is so very key in today's world I believe. I've learned all of this from my father especially. And so I'm going to end with... have some heart, treat people how they should be treated, even if your having a bad day, even if your having a wonderful day, never look down on someone or act like they're smaller than you are, because you are one in the same.

It's begining to look alot like Christmas;

Today was such a good day. Actually this weekend has been wonderful. I worked, and in the evenings I went out with friends. Suchhhh a blast. :) And today I did a shoot. So it was freaking awesome. But today was the best by far. My family and I went to go pick out a christmas tree!




Picking out the tree is the best. I hate fake trees.. who does that? To really get into christmas you must get a christmas tree, this tree cannot be fake. It must be REAL people! What the heck! And then.. when you bring it into your house. The whole house smells of a christmas tree. I love that smell. ♥




So we finally found our christmas tree after arguing for like an hour about where we should go look for one along with which tree we should pick. But we found one. The ONE. hehe. and so it came home with us. But as we were driving we saw this hawk! It was so pretty, sitting on top of a different christmas tree. So I got some really good pictures of it.




So so so happy. ♥ I love the holidays. Especially the hippo song. it makes my day. Liiiike no other. But anyways! The tree is in the house! It has it's pretty lights on it. The inside of the house is decorated. Andd no all thats left is to put ordinmints on the tree and lights on the house! Must be done! It must, it must!

So the end of my day ended quite well with a shoot with Nick! and my make was done by Rheanna. :) heres a peek,

Girls

I don't think I've ever been more close to girls in my life than this point right now. I mean normally I don't get along with any, except my best friend. But right now it's just freaking awesome. I love our little group it's absolutely fantastic. Along with my other few girlys. :) I just love having girls nights and going out to dinner, and being the center of attention anywhere we go. Because were all absolutley adorable, and beautiful in every single way ever imagined. I love you all ♥ You've just completed me more than ever in a time in my life where it's been a little rough. But it's getting better. I felt my road in life was going down hill really, and then I had the most wonderful people step into my life, and I'm so entirely greatful. So now my little road is flat, and going up steadily. It's not rocky anymore either ;) I think I'll just travel on down it for a while. ♥
