Snow.

I always loved going to the snow when I was younger. And of course I still do. It's beautiful driving up and down and watching how the scenery changes as you get into central oregon.

My family and I would take weekend trips to bend all the time when I was younger. I miss it so much. And I came to realize driving up and back with friends was of course different and the drive itself was a long one. To this day I still can't understand how in the world my dad would get off work after a long day of driving (he use to delivered freight) and then drive us all up to bend in the crazy snowy weather. He's such an amazing man. I love him so much and am so greatful for all he has done for me and my mom too. The amount of things he's accomplished back then and now too considering the state he's in.

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time. But then I realize everything happens for a reason, and the paths we journey on have some sort of adventure, and some sort of way of working out for the best and never for the worst.

Good times.

Yesterday.

I spent at the mountain, it was so incredible to be back at Bach again. I missed the snow so much. I cannot even begin to tell you how much snowboarding means to me. It was a fun trip up with a friend and his family. You know that feeling you get in your stomach, where your anxious to go somewhere and do something and you know it's going to be a blast. Well that's how it was the night before for me. I could barely contain myself let alone get a good nights sleep. The mountain was nice, but the conditions weren't all that fantastic. The North West is dire need of getting snow. So hopefully we get some major stuff soon, because I don't know if I'll be able to last without getting snow. I need some fresh stuff to fly though. Today I'm super sore, but it was worth it. It's always worth it. ♥

Yessss.

Wintertime.

Brrrr!
Like holy cow! I've been so cold lately!
And for once the weather man was right! I'm soo
entirely happy though we had snow, and now that its
starting to melt away, it's sort of making me miss it even more.
But I do love summertime. And dear lord do I miss the warmth of
the sunshine on my face, summer dresses, shorts, tank tops oh
and not to mention wearing sandles. But soon enough the sun
will come, and the trees will be green.
But until then...
I'll just be bundled up.

Hmm..

For those of you who don't know I take a snowboarding class every thursday. It's through the college. And it's freaking awesome. I love it. Today was awesome. It was sunny, could've used a little powder. But ahhh I had so much fun. I went through the park on the box, over jumps, through the mini pipe, and carved through the super half pipe. It was so so so much fun. tehe. I hope everyone had a good thursday!

Now were on to friday!

I seriously cannot wait to see what this weekend has in store for me.
It'll most likely be:

-Freaking out that it's friday.
-Working friday..(lame) oh and saturday.
-Having sunday off! Superbowl!
-Hanging with friends!
-A trashy/classy birthday party (yes i will be dressing trashy) FOR ONCE. hah.
-Being happy.
-Oh and smiling a ton too. :)

So today, pretty much rocked. and lately.. the last couple days have been pretty rockin. Went up to Bachelor, and the sun was shining the runs were groomed, and it was pretty legit.

I'm so happy I'm taking this class, I love going up to the mountain. I just feel like I'm in a whole different world. The snowy slopes are just a totally different scene than eugene, and I love it. I love everything about the snow.

I could cruise all day. seriously. non stop.

A rose,

So right now I'm sitting at my kitchen table.
Writing this blogpost. And so I decide to look out the
window. It's cold looking, dull, overcast, theres alot
of green, and the leaves are starting to fall from the trees.
The wind is blowing but if I look far, farther away from me
I see mountains of blue meeting with the white and grey sky
almost blending in. But as I look closer to me, not as far away
as the sky or the mountains. I see a rose. Not quite in bloom,
but about to be, soon. A beautiful red rose. Those are my favorite.
And it sticks out, especially in a backgroud full of green.
It's different.

But I like different.

Mostly, I just cannot believe that it's about to bloom in almost
what I call winter time. I mean it is still fall, but it's mostly
winter, it's so cold. All the other roses bloomed long ago, their
dead looking stems withering away.
I like that red rose.

It dares to be different.

Summertime.

I'm ready for summer to be over. I feel like all I've been doing lately is working. It's been really hard to enjoy the weather. I still havn't completed alot on my to do list of summer activities. But hopefully while summer is still here I'll be able to inbetween working. But it will be nice once school starts everything will settle down a little bit and I'll be working less. I'm kind of excited to be that much more done with my schooling. :) I feel accomplished for how far I've come.

I really do miss winter though, I love being bundled up. Always wearing sweatshirts, pants, gloves,boots, scarfs. Having adventures in the snow, along with snowboarding. ♥ Yesssss pleassseee.
