The Future:

Lately I feel like I've been thinking alot about the future... I have so many dreams and aspirations in life and believe personally I've accomplished alot for someone such as myself. I've tried so hard, gave it my all, and don't plan in any way to give up. Because I have so much time ahead of me. I mean I'm only 22...

I really look forward to moving to Portland with my very good friend Tess. To go to school finally at a university rather than a community college will be a awesome step in my life. And to finally move out of my parents house will solidify finally being independent for me. I look forward to this day that's just around the corner so much.

I'm going to miss my family, Eugene, friends, and the many places the city and country here has to offer me. But to a bigger city with so much opportunity for me will be an amazing thing for me to finally conquer. I have so many plans for myself while I'm in Portland. Finally obtaining my Bachelors Degree is on the top of the list, as well as networking with the many amazing photographers and models that reside in Portland, and even possibly changing or adding an agency if its possible.

We shall see.

Oh the places I shall go, and the things that I shall do.

I cannot wait, I'm beyond excited for this adventure and new chapter to start.

California!

Well I must say that California was a success, I had so much fun with Tess. I love her to death, she is definitely one of the best friends I've ever had. Her family was so nice, and I was also so happy to see my friend Oktober another model that recently moved from Eug to Cali. We hungout and shot with some awesome photographers down there. That's the one thing I wish Oregon was like, I wish networking was better, and people would hire models under 5'8"... but don't get me started. haha. :)

California Dreaming?

Lately I have been, it seems a lot of people have been venturing to California. A close friend of mine left a couple days ago. Which made me think of how bad I've been wanting to get out of Eugene and start traveling around and adventuring. Its unfortunate when you have factors holding you back, but short trips are always fun.

Next week my friend Tess is taking a short vacation to Cali, I think I may go with her. I really want to go, but I also don't want to miss my dads walk to defeat ALS. Which is super super important to me. So I haven't quite decided yet, plus I need to get the days off.

BUT! it would be so much fun, I haven't been to California in a while. Spend some time at the beach, in the sunshine, shopping, and having fun. Eeek. That'd be lovely. :)

Long time no write.

I suppose that happens from time to time. People do get busy. But hey, lately I've felt like writing a whole lot.

I did go to Maui, and I had such a lovely time visiting family and watching my beautiful cousin Raseta get married.

Since then I've been enjoying my summer. Like every other person. :)

I'm so excited for what is to come. I seriously could freak out right now.
It's a little ridiculous.
This summer shall be one of the best summers ever. EVER.
I just cannot wait. But right now I'm not telling why.
It's a big secret. a REAL big secret. tehe.
I don't feel like telling anyone.. any only a few select people know.
So for right now you'll just have to wait patiently for me to tell you.

I need this:

I just need to get away, and guess what. I am, I'm getting away from here for a bit. Of course not that far away, just 2 hours or so. But 2 hours is better than anything. Off to visit my best friend and leave everything behind. Including my cares. I'll just let them stay down here for a bit while I head up there. I seriously cannot wait. This is what I need. I really needed this. Before school starts its absolutely necessary that I get away. We'll let the city have its way with me for awhile. ♥

Coast Trip!

So the other day I ventured to the coast with a friend! Which ended in some good exploring of tide pools, and beachcombing, and picture taking. I took my film camera with me, but occasionally got to use his amazing digital camera. Ugh I want one now so bad. Their seriously awesome. I still like film but digital is much easier.

So here are a few pictures I took, I put my own little editing twist. :)

An awesome adventure!

So not this last weekend, but the weekend before I went to Bend, OR. I actually had plans to go to Portland and then to Seattle for that weekend, but a friend had car troubles and needed to stay a bit more local and save money. So we traveled to Bend stayed with a friend and went on a huge adventure. It was so so so much fun. :)

We ended up hiking near Broken Top in bend and we hiked up pretty far! We crossed the river down lower when it was easier to cross, and oh my gosh the water was so freaking cold! It was crazzzy, and then I found the cutest froggy! hehe. So after we crossed we hiked on an older trail that disappeared at times, but we just followed the river up, and up, annnnnd upppp... haha.






We actually got pretty close to broken top and if we would've brought camping/backpacking gear I totally would've spent the night up there. It was gorgeous. We ran into some guys up there who had these craaazzzy loud, huge dogs. And one of them in particular wanted to eat me for sure. He was so big. He kept barking at us. So scary, then we talked to the guy for a bit and he gave us mosquito repellent and that was quite nice considering we were getting eaten alive! So we finally made our way back down ran into another group, one guy in particular was eyeballing one of my guy friends..haha. so funny. and then we finally crossed back over the river and hiked our way back to the parking lot. :)





Ending with some group picture taking anddd my own little photography stuff. I'll post when I get the CD back! Considering I use a 35mm. :) It's love. Anyways. All and all a pretty awesome trip with friends.

Summertime.

I'm ready for summer to be over. I feel like all I've been doing lately is working. It's been really hard to enjoy the weather. I still havn't completed alot on my to do list of summer activities. But hopefully while summer is still here I'll be able to inbetween working. But it will be nice once school starts everything will settle down a little bit and I'll be working less. I'm kind of excited to be that much more done with my schooling. :) I feel accomplished for how far I've come.

I really do miss winter though, I love being bundled up. Always wearing sweatshirts, pants, gloves,boots, scarfs. Having adventures in the snow, along with snowboarding. ♥ Yesssss pleassseee.

Oh Gosh, I've just been so so so busy lately. I feel like I havn't gotten any time for myself. I mean I know I just went on vacation and all, but still. Being back got more hetic. School is just sucking the life out of me. I'm sooo done with it. I can't wait for summer. I wish it was here already, and the weather would start looking up. It would be so nice if it would. I miss sunshine, I don't miss wet, and rainy. No thank you. I finally have my classes for fall term which is nice to have that all done and figured out, but it's even better to have a summer off. Just work and have fun, yes yes yes. Oh gosh, I worked all memorial weekend, and let me tell you it was quite busy. I felt exaclty like a bee.



On a happy note. I'm super dooper excited for this weekend. I just cannot wait for color's birthday party! It should be a ton of funnn! I looove meeting new people, perfect opportunity, and time to have fun, since I don't work til a little later that day. hehe. :) woop woop! I still need to find something green though. I'm sure something will turn up soon, I'm on the hunt! hehe.

Oh gosh, my ballet final is friday, and I had my speech final today. That was freaking intense. And a tad scary. At first I thought I was going to do horrible because I didn't practice at all...But I think I did okay, knock on wood. Hopefully I get a good grade in speech, I tried super hard! And ballet! Well an A is a givin.. hehe. :) I just love ballet. Dancing makes me sooo happy. I just hope I have the routine down to a T. I think I somewhat have it, I just need to practice more. :) I can't wait for it though, it should be quite fun! Whew, this term just flew by, it's had it's rough patches but it's been alright. I'm happy it's finally over. So so so very happy. I will miss ballet though, I love it so much. It means alot to me to be able to dance. But soon enough fall term will come and I'll be dancing my little heart out again. ♥ I'm not going to worry about it too much. I'll be having an exciting summer filled with all sorts of adventures. Which are thee bestest.

Gosh I'm absolutely so tired of school right now. It's a tad bit ridiculous. I'm ready for summer. I cannot wait to see what it has in store for me. I feel like this is going to be one of the best summers ever. :) I'm going to hawaii to kick off the start of it too. Which makes it all the more better. hehe. I feel like I've just met so many wonderful people and hanging out with friends and just working will be awesome. I can't wait for this term to be over, I mean its really not that bad, but right now... I'm totally over it. Maybe even beyond totally. I think I am.
