Some people.

Some people are just so amazing.
There is a certain type of person you don't find anymore. And I promise you with how the way people are today, there are not many of them. The kind of people that compliment you on a job well done and actually take the time to tell someone about it. Yeah.. those people. I feel like the way kids are being raised they have no manners, and in today's world it's hard to find someone that will treat you how you want to be treated. Especially since your working in customer service like I do. I deal with people all day long. And really, there aren't very many that even say thank you. I would say 2 out of every 10 people I help say the words please and thank you.

So the other day I had a customer, she was nice. She told me what she wanted and I tried to accommodate her the best I could for what she was looking for. Considering we don't have any shorter boots left at Macy's I pulled her similar things, and luckily I grabbed her the right pair of shoes. She was ecstatic that I found exactly what she was looking for. She told me not to blush and asked where my manager was and told her how much of an asset I am to the shoe department. I was excited. I've never ever had anyone ever do that. It was nice. People like this just make my day.

And like this lady, I am to the very same. Complimenting someone when they do a job well done, and treating people how they should be treated is so very key in today's world I believe. I've learned all of this from my father especially. And so I'm going to end with... have some heart, treat people how they should be treated, even if your having a bad day, even if your having a wonderful day, never look down on someone or act like they're smaller than you are, because you are one in the same.

Oh today;

was a fairly good day. :)
I had a funny series of events!
Actually just one in particular.
It made me laugh. I giggled possibly
the whole entire end of my shift.

The other series of events was nice, and
it made my day go by faster. It was the
fact that our shoe department was just ransaked
with people shopping for the holiday.

Busy busy busy bee, that's what I was.
On the other hand, I got way to many compliments
today. But it was nice, it made me smile.
Compliments on my hair mostly. And that ballet dancers
are beautiful, and then that I was nice. I like
compliments. Their quite nice.

Okay so to my story! haha.

So my co worker kayla and I end up together closing
the shoe department, I got off a little earlier than
she did, but of course as were trying to clean up and
make everything tidy we get the average customer coming
in shopping late after the rush, which is exactly the way I
would do it too. But these three hispanic women came in
to exchange a coat and slippers, and of course they speak
spanish in front of me. So of course I have NO IDEA whatsoever
on what their talking about.. Then as I'm exchanging their
merchandise, one of the woman asks "how old are you?" and I
reply twenty. The conversation ended and I was just about done
with the transaction, but inquiring minds must know. So I asked
why she wanted to know my age.. and she replys "Oh my son.. well
hes around your age and we'd like to find him someone like you".
WOW. hahaha.. So I was kind of like uhm okay, I see. and that's when
it got a tad bit akward. I was a little astonished.. not going to lie.
But then she goes into telling me how he has fair skin and dark brown
hair and blue eyes like I do. They thought it was really un-natural to
find someone that had blue eyes and natural brown hair. I thought it
was freaking halarious how they were trying to pimp out their son to me.
God..

what. a. day.

In Time..

Everything takes time...and really it's all we have.
Lately I've noticed that. I've been staring at the clock alot.
Like I have to be at work at this time, clock in from lunch at this
time, be here or there by this time, start school at this time.
It's kind of ridiculous..
I wish I could just take all the time I wanted. I like moving
at a slow pace.



But all the seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months, and years add up.
And when it comes down to it, you should be able to look
back at those seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months, and years
and hope that each and every single one of them is memorable.
Life is so short, it passes you by so quickly.

Today a woman came into the shoe department, and I learned that
she was celebrating her birthday, she was much older. Probably
in her late 60's. she told me the years fly by, she feels
like a thirteen year old supposively. I told her that not many
people can say that. And that it's something to be proud of.
Therefore you must treasure every single moment in your life.
Make each moment in your life something worth living for
and live each moment for you. ♥

You are crazy, I don't know if you knew that or not. But seriously just stay out of Macy's. We don't need your business. Goddd. Hahaha. When someone ask's you if your reading their mind, you automatically think to yourself what?

ANNNNYWAYS! Other than that crazy lady, today was an okay day.

Lake day.

I love love love the people I work with. Their all so awesome. We had such a fun day at Fall Creek, Katie drove with me. She's bomb. Haha. We had a jam sesh in my car and it was awesomeeee. When we finally got to Fall Creek, we realized that it had been drained some.. which really sucked. Haha. So we tried getting closer to the water but it was all gross and muddy..haha. And Holly got a sweet mud tanline. ;) After that fun excursion we decided we would head to Dexter, we all put our feet in the water and it was FAreeeeeeezing!


So we had a little picnic and had yummy bean dip that Kayla made! Along with Holly's amazing pasta. I need the recipe for that! :)

Such a good day yesterday. ♥

Whew.

Goodness today was long, this whole weekend has been long actually. I'm happy to be off work, and not work until thursday. :) Which is a good thing, I've been buying way to many shoes lately. Sorta ridiculous... I bought a pair of coach shoes, and then I found another pair. So I need to decide between the two, but I'm pretty sure I know which ones I want more. :) haha. Their absolutely adorable, anddd they were on sale. Which is always awesomeeee! Pretty much getting one pair for $15.00 originally $88.00. Yeah I know, I rock. ;) haha.

Tomorrow I plan on heading up to Bend, I can't wait to get out of Eugene for a little while. It's been a frustrating area lately. I just don't understand people sometimes... So anyways I just can't wait to just float the river and be swept away, and soak up the sunshine. Kelli and I are going to drive up, I'm making a bank play list. haha. :) It should be funn! I'm actually getting a little excited. hehe.

We have a new girl at work, she's so adorable! Her name is Marce, and I'm real sad that Katie is in petites, but you know it's for her own good. So I'm happy for her, but she really did grow on me. We've had some pretty good times hehe. I love the people I work with. Their all so awesome. ♥

To the Jungle I went..

Ahh last weekend was so so so much fun. :) I'm pretty sure I was dancing like 95% of the time. Which I never ever, I mean never ever do. lol. Here are a few pictures:

On another note, I've been working so freaking much lately, it's a little ridiculous... I mean I really like making money and all, but I'm just so happy I have this week off. I wanted to go up to bend to see a few friends, but I kind of want to stay in the Eug. I'm thinking I'll go up maybe not this week coming up but the one after it. I really want to go up there, but I'm not sure if I trust my jeep. andddd I really really really want to go camping. Like baddd. I wish I could get everyone together and us just go camping for the week. That'd be soooo fun. :)

So I'm not sure what to do today, I'm going to help my mom with a few things, then most likely enjoy the sunshine and tan and read my book. :) Sounds pretty good right now.

Jeez there are just so many things I want to do lately, and it's kind of fusterating not being able to do them all because of work. Here's the list:

1. Go camping
2. Go to Bend
3. Go to Portland
4. Go to the Coast
5. Have a girls day
6. Go see Toy Story 3
7. Paint
8. Play Soccer
9. Do a little ballet
10. Go boating
11. Go swimming day/ night
12. Spend time with my parents

I want to do all those things realll bad, but it stinks I can't get them accomplished. I'm sure I will sooner or later though. It's just going to take some time. :)

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

On another note,
This weekend was realllll funnnn. I mean I worked A TON, but after work was fannntastic. I'm super exhausted right now though, I'm just going to spend the evening watching movies. Preferably disney. hehe. But most of all I'm going to watch Thumbelina. Myyyy absolute favorite, if you didn't know. And yes it isn't a disney movie buttt it's amazing and every girl should watch it. :) hehe.



So I really miss soccer, I wish I could play on an outdoor or indoor team, I feel like this summer I need to do something athletic, or dance or something. Annnd I really need to start reading my book! I've been putting it off for like ever.. I'm going to start reading The Last Song. I heard from another coworker that the book is amazing and she's read it like 3 times already. haha. :) So I need to get on it!

Eeek, parents get home from Vegas tomorrow.. it was so nice to have the house quite. I loved it. ♥

Saturday

Yayyy it's saturday,
I remember when I was little I'd always wake up
and watch cartoons in the morning. It was bomb.
I'd eat my cinnimon toast crunch and just be a kid.

Oh those were the days.

Ugh I start work at 8:45, no thank you.
and my manager changed the time I'm getting
of to 5:45.. cool. Thanks. So much for the
saturday market. I was really looking forward
to a short day at work and a fun rest of the day.
But no. Atleast I got a cute pair of shoes yesterday.

Maybe something else will make my day..
I feel a little blah, this morning.
All I want to do is sleep.
I wish someone would cheer me up.
I think I may need some of that.

Yesterday..

Wow..
Yesterday was really rough. I couldn't believe this lady that came into the shoe department. She was the grumpyist thing alive. I was having such a good day until she was rude. I swear, she just popped my bubble. I exploded too.. into a few tears. It wasn't nice of her. and all I was being was nice. Some people. I swear.
She wanted to buy these shoes, but since Macy's is having a sale we can't accept the coupons the people get in the mail if your a card holder, and I was just about to tell her why she couldn't use the 20% off coupon she had, but she said no walked away and started talking to her husband in Russian. Freaking people from other countries I swear, If your going to be rude, just leave. KTHANKS. I don't need to put up with you. I didn't even get to tell her she was going to save 15% she just started going off in her other language and walking away. She didn't even wait. Just a huge no and walked away.. God. SO RUDE. Next time I see her, and I'm not working. Shes freaking getting a piece of my mind. Beezy fo Sheeeezy. lol. Anyways. I just felt like expressing my dissatisfaction of rude foreign people who shop at macy's. :)

Alright soooo, today was good. Unitl it became more towards the evening.
Ugh tonight was rough. Don't ask me why...but it was. :/
and it sucks right now. :/
